I'm the sunburnt blonde girl in the tall alpaca socks, hanging on to every word that comes out sounding anything like Spanish. Shouldn't be too hard to spot in Cuzco, the oldest inhabited city in this hemisphere and my beautiful home until May. Fresh out of Mizzou's School of Journalism, I have wandered here with my wonderful friend Annie to climb into the Andes for a view grander than green hills and dollhouse miniatures of the town below: the view of once-impoverished communities that have become self-sustainable. Working here with Peru's Challenge, I can hopefully put some writing skills to the test and spend time loving and serving the people who call these mountains home. And we need your help, too, so come on down.
